This Privacy Policy governs the Processing of Personal Information by eJuuZ in accordance with Applicable Data Protection Laws (including POPIA). By visiting or engaging with the Platform, You signify Your Consent to Us Processing Your Personal Information in accordance with this Policy. In this Policy, the following words shall have the meanings assigned to them below:
"Account" means the personal or business profiles created by a User which allows access to and use of the Platform.

"Responsible Party" means eJuuZ, which determines the purpose and means for Processing Personal Information submitted through the Platform.
"South African Information Regulator" means the independent body established under POPIA to monitor and enforce compliance with data protection laws in South Africa.
"Special Personal Information" means Special Personal Information as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013.
Kumon Technologies trading as eJuuZ (Pty) Ltd is a private company duly registered in South Africa. We are a technology-driven financial services company developing and operating digital infrastructure to enable inclusive participation in the digital economy for peri-urban, township, and informal economies.
Our Platform collects and Processes Personal Information of Our Users. We do not collect Special Personal Information from Our Users.
Consent for Collection and Processing: By submitting Your Personal Information when accessing or using the Platform, You expressly Consent to the Processing of Your Personal Information in accordance with this Policy.
You expressly Consent to Us keeping Your Personal Information once Your relationship with Us has been terminated, for aggregate, statistical or historical purposes. Such Personal Information will be De-identified and cannot be used to identify You personally.
Purpose for Collection and Processing: We Process Your Personal Information to inform and market Our Services to You; respond to queries; provide User support; create and manage Your Account; process payments; manage product listings and orders; monitor Platform conduct; notify You of changes to Our Services; improve Our Platform; and comply with applicable laws.
We expressly acknowledge and undertake that We do not use any Personal Information for any other purposes not described above.
We collect Personal Information when You create an Account, onboard as a Merchant, conduct Transactions, use the Platform (via Cookies and log files), contact Customer Support, send a WhatsApp message to Our business line, or email or call Us.
For Customer Accounts: Full name and surname as per Identity Document, identity number, email address, contact number, device details and IP address, and login credentials.
For Merchant Accounts: Full name, email address, business name and registration details, VAT number (where applicable), business contact details and address, device details and IP address, and banking details for settlement purposes.
For Transactions: Transaction and order history, delivery and physical address information, and payment-related information processed via secure payment service providers.
We do not collect more Personal Information than is reasonably necessary to provide the Services.
You agree that all Personal Information You provide to Us is accurate, full, and up to date. In the event of errors or inaccuracies, You agree to indemnify and hold Us harmless from any resulting claims or damages.
We take reasonable steps to ensure the Personal Information We Process is complete, accurate, and kept up to date, including enabling Users to update their Account profiles.
You may request the correction, updating, or deletion of any inaccurate Personal Information by updating Your Account or submitting a request to Our Information Officer.
We will only Process Your Personal Information where You have Consented; the Processing is necessary to provide the Platform to You; the Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract; the Processing is necessary for compliance with Our legal obligations; or the Processing is necessary to protect Your legitimate interests or Ours.
We may from time to time Process Personal Information for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected, provided such further Processing is compatible with the original purpose, including analytics, reporting, and improving Platform performance.
Where further Processing is not compatible with the original purpose, We will obtain Your prior Consent.
We may disclose Your Personal Information to Our Employees for purposes of fulfilling Your requests or providing technical support; Our Administrator; Our Service Providers including internet service providers and payment gateways; and any organisation for any authorised purpose with Your express Consent.
We may further disclose Your Personal Information to comply with the law or legal process, to protect and defend Our rights and property, and to protect against misuse of the Web-App.
Your Personal Information is stored on servers inside South Africa. We do not, by default, transfer Your Personal Information beyond the borders of South Africa.

Our security safeguards include secure hosting environments, encryption of sensitive data, role-based access controls, secure authentication mechanisms, regular system updates and monitoring, and confidentiality obligations binding all staff.
In the event that Your Personal Information is accessed or acquired by an unauthorised party, We shall promptly notify You via email and/or Platform notification.
Notwithstanding the above, no company can fully protect against all security risks associated with the Processing of Personal Information online.
We retain Your Personal Information for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy, and as required by applicable laws, regulations, and legal obligations.
When retention is no longer necessary, the information will be deleted, destroyed, or Aggregated and De-identified for analytics purposes.
We operate Our Services in the Republic of South Africa. Should You access the Services from outside South Africa, You Consent to the collection, transmission, use, storage, and Processing of Your Personal Information in accordance with South African laws.
For storage purposes, We may transfer Personal Information to Microsoft Azure ("Azure"), Our cloud-based Service Provider. Azure has appropriate technical and organisational measures in place to ensure the security and confidentiality of Personal Information.
We use Google Analytics as a tracking technology to collect information for the purpose of tracking traffic and understanding User interaction with Our Platform. The information collected is kept confidential.
Google Analytics may use Cookies to collect information and report site usage statistics. Most browsers allow You to reject Cookies by managing Your settings, however this may affect Your experience with some Platform features.
The Platform may utilise artificial intelligence (AI) and other automated tools to support the operation and improvement of Our Services.
The Platform does not engage in automated decision-making or profiling of Users. No determination affecting a User's rights or obligations is made solely by automated systems without human oversight.
AI-assisted functionalities are used exclusively for operational, administrative, or analytical purposes and do not involve profiling for commercial, discriminatory, or legally significant purposes.
If You engage with Us on any of Our Social Media Pages, the Personal Information You submit can be read, collected, and/or used by other users of those websites, subject to the privacy settings of Your social media account.
We shall not be held responsible for the Personal Information that You choose to submit on Our Social Media Pages. We encourage You to review the privacy practices of the social media websites with which You interact.
