In these Terms, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings assigned to them below:
"Account" means the personal or business profiles created by a User which allows such User to access and use the Platform.
"Administrator" means any duly authorised person appointed by eJuuZ to run and manage the day-to-day operations of the Platform.
"Aggregation/Aggregated" means the process of combining, summarising, or grouping Data from multiple Users to create a summarised and anonymised dataset used for research, Platform development, and reporting.
"Applicable Data Protection Laws" means any legislation protecting individuals' rights to privacy in respect of the processing of personal information, including the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (PAIA).
"Business Hours" means the hours between 09h00 and 22h00 on any calendar day.
"Consent" means any voluntary, specific, and informed expression of will in terms of which You give Your permission to Us to Process Your Personal Information.
"Content" means any data, text, images, graphics, listings, product descriptions, reviews, feedback, or other material displayed, uploaded, or otherwise made available on the Platform.
"Customer" means any natural or juristic person who uses the Platform to purchase goods and/or services from Merchants.
"eWallet" means the electronic wallet functionality on the Platform enabling Users to send and receive payments and conduct Transactions.
"eJuuZ, Us or Our" means Kumon Technologies (Pty) Ltd, trading as eJuuZ Digital, a private company registered in South Africa at 77 Bronkhorst Street, Groenkloof, Pretoria, 0181.
"Fees" means any transaction-based fees, service fees, or other charges payable by Users to Us for utilising the Platform and associated Services.
"KYC (Know Your Customer)" means the verification processes implemented by Us to confirm Your identity, including collection and verification of Personal Information to comply with applicable laws.
"Marketplace" means the online ecommerce Platform that allows Merchants to list and offer goods and/or services to Customers.
"Merchant" means any natural or juristic person who registers a merchant Account on the Platform for the purpose of offering goods and/or services and receiving payments.
"Pay-and-Collect" means the Platform feature allowing Customers to pay for goods and/or services using their eWallet and collect them from a Merchant-specified location.
"Personal Information" means personal information as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013.
"Platform" means the eJuuZ e-commerce platform, including its web-based application and mobile application, owned and operated by Us.
"Transaction" means any payment, transfer, purchase, withdrawal, deposit, refund, or other financial interaction conducted through the Platform.
"User, You, Yourself/ves" means Customers and Merchants collectively, who use Our Platform for informational purposes and/or to receive the Services.
Kumon Technologies trading as eJuuZ (Pty) Ltd is a private company duly registered and incorporated under the laws of the Republic of South Africa. We are a technology-driven financial services company that develops and operates digital infrastructure aimed at enabling inclusive participation in the digital economy by transforming cash-send transactions into instant digital value so that individuals can transact securely without the need of a traditional bank account.
Our Platform supports peer-to-peer payments, Merchant payments, Marketplace Transactions, and related financial and transactional Services. It is designed to support small businesses, informal traders, and under-served communities by providing digital tools that enhance financial inclusion and economic participation.
These Terms pertain specifically to the use of Our Platform, outlining the rules, responsibilities, and functionalities related to accessing and utilising the Platform.
When You use Our Platform, You are communicating with Us electronically. You consent to receive communications from Us electronically and agree that all agreements and consent forms can be signed electronically.
When You click "I Agree," "I Consent," "Submit," "Register," "Login" or any similar button, Your agreement or Consent will be legally binding and enforceable — the legal equivalent of Your handwritten signature.
Our Platform can only be accessed and utilised via the Web-App and/or mobile application made available by eJuuZ.
The Platform may be accessed by the Administrator, Customers, and Merchants.
Access to and use of Our Platform is strictly dependent upon You having successfully registered an Account using true, accurate, up-to-date, and complete information.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have full legal capacity to enter into binding agreements. By registering an Account, You represent and warrant that You meet these eligibility requirements.
Account Creation for Customers: To create a Customer Account, You must provide Your full name, identity number, a valid email address, a valid mobile phone number, and a self-generated password.
Account Creation for Merchants: Merchant Accounts may only be created after first successfully registering as a Customer. Merchants must additionally provide proof of business address and a biometric facial image for identity verification purposes.
KYC Standards: No User Account may be created, verified, or maintained without successful completion of the minimum identity verification requirements determined by Us from time to time.
You are fully responsible for safeguarding Your Account login credentials and for all activities that occur under Your Account.
Access and use of Our Platform shall not be made available to a child whose Account has not been verified by a competent person.
You may not use Our Platform to impersonate Third Parties or share their Personal Information without consent.
You may not use Our Platform to engage in any harmful, illegal, or unauthorised activities including harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or threats of violence.
You undertake to refrain from exploiting Platform security vulnerabilities, attempting to access unauthorised accounts, intercepting communications, engaging in spamming or phishing, or violating any applicable laws.
Unauthorised use may result in Account termination and/or legal action against You.
The Platform provides Services designed to facilitate an online Marketplace where Transactions can take place between Customers and Merchants, including access to the eWallet, Marketplace functionalities, and Pay-and-Collect Services.
Certain Services may require You to provide additional Personal Information, business information, and/or product details, which shall be handled in accordance with Our Privacy Policy.
Our Platform enables Users to access an eWallet feature which facilitates the receipt, holding, transfer, and settlement of funds in connection with Transactions.
All Transactions facilitated through the eWallet shall be conducted in South African Rand (ZAR), unless otherwise specified.
You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all payment-related information. eJuuZ shall not be liable for any loss, delay, or failed Transaction arising from incorrect or outdated information supplied by You.
The eWallet is provided solely as a transactional facilitation tool. It does not constitute a bank account, and We do not act as a bank or deposit-taking institution.
Access to and use of Our Platform is not subject to any subscription Fees, unless expressly stated otherwise in respect of a specific Service.
Transactional Fees are charged in respect of Services facilitated through Our Platform.
All applicable Fees shall be disclosed to You prior to the completion of a Transaction or the activation of any paid Service.
We reserve the right to amend Fees at our sole discretion. Changes will be effected automatically on Our Platform.
Certain features or functionalities may be offered to Merchants as part of premium packages subject to additional Fees.
Premium Services may include Mobile Internet Hotspot services and Advertising Services including search result optimisation and banner placement.
Our Platform facilitates an online Marketplace through which Merchants may list goods and/or services for Customers to purchase.
Pay-and-Collect enables Customers to make payment electronically and collect goods and/or services from the Merchant at a specified location.
We act solely as a facilitator of Transactions between Users and do not manufacture, sell, store, inspect, or deliver any goods listed by Merchants.
Any dispute arising between a Customer and a Merchant in relation to goods, services, fulfilment, quality, or collection shall be resolved directly between the Customer and the Merchant.
We may at Our sole discretion facilitate communication between parties but shall not be responsible or liable for the resolution of any dispute or any resulting losses.
The Platform may only be used by Users who have successfully created an Account in accordance with these Terms.
The Platform shall only be used to list or purchase products and/or services, access and manage Your Account, communicate with Us regarding Transactions, and submit feedback or reviews.
You may terminate Your Account at any time via Your Account Settings on the Platform.
Upon deletion, You will no longer have access to Our Services and all of Your Personal Information will be permanently deleted or Aggregated.
We reserve the right to terminate Your Account with prior written notice should We determine that You have violated these Terms or engaged in harmful behaviour.
We encourage Users to provide feedback regarding their experience with Our Platform and Services.
By submitting feedback, You acknowledge that it may be used for quality assurance, promotional, or marketing purposes.

We shall comply with all Applicable Data Protection Laws relating to the privacy and security of Your Personal Information and shall only Process it in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on Our Website.
The Platform and all of Our Content contained on it are Our exclusive property.
We grant You a limited, revocable, non-transferable, personal, non-exclusive right to use the Platform subject to Your continuous adherence to these Terms.
You are not authorised to use Our Intellectual Property in any manner (including reproducing, copying, selling, or exploiting it for commercial purposes) without prior written Consent from Us.
If You become aware of violations of Our Intellectual Property, please report them immediately at hello@ejuuz.com.
Users acknowledge that eJuuZ shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or disputes arising from the use of the Platform, including Transactions, orders, or interactions with Merchants or other Users. All refunds, returns, or other issues relating to goods and/or services purchased through the Platform are the sole responsibility of the Merchant.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Us harmless from and against any claims, damages, losses, and liabilities including loss of profits, direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, and any reasonable legal fees resulting from Your use or misuse of the Platform.
We make no warranty that the Platform and relating Services will meet all of Your expectations or requirements, or that the Platform will be available uninterrupted or error-free.
We warrant that We will make reasonable efforts to maintain a secure environment for Users to access and utilise Our Platform and Services.
The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. By accessing and using Our Platform, You understand, acknowledge and agree that Your usage and reliance on any information received on Our Platform is entirely at Your discretion and sole risk.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Us, Our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, consultants, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, and fees arising from Your use or misuse of the Platform and/or Our Services.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be exclusively resolved in the South African courts.
Any failure by Us to exercise or enforce any part of these Terms shall not be construed as a waiver of Our right to exercise or enforce any part of these Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
We may change these Terms at any time by posting the amended Terms on Our Platform. All amended Terms are immediately and automatically effective upon posting.
It is Your responsibility to regularly review these Terms. Should You not agree to any updates or modifications, You may terminate Your Account and stop using the Platform.
